  1. Learn more about policy needed to reduce food waste and expand local support for fruit and vegetable incentive programs.

  2. Develop advocacy plans to strategize next steps for policy change.

  3. Join a team to mobilize food equity policy change over the next 12 months.

CCC-FPC Steering Committee Membership Application Due

THE FPC SEEKS STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Food Policy Coalition (CCC-FPC) is recruiting members for the Steering Committee. Steering Committee members are responsible for furthering the CCC-FPC’s mission to innovate and advocate for a healthy, just, and resilient local food system in the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and Northeast Ohio.

Steering Committee members are required to attend six meetings per year and serve on one standing committee. By serving on these committees you will help shape and implement the CCC-FPC agenda. A commitment of 5-10 hours/month is expected.

If you are interested in serving, please return the application by October 1st, 2019. Interviews will be scheduled with the CCC-FPC Membership Committee in October. Applicants will be notified on the results of the search by December 1st, 2019.
